Protein Powder Oats (PROATS)

INGREDIENTS:

·     60 g old fashioned oats

·     1 1/4 cup water (or coffee)

·     1/2-1 scoop whey protein powder (I do 3/4 scoop to give about 20 g protein)

Additional toppings: Apples, bananas, berries, Chocolate chips, Ice cream, Peanut butter, protein nut butter, Greek yogurt of my favorite combinations is caramelized mashed banana and lily's sugar free chocolate chips

STEPS:

1.    Add oats and water to bowl, mix.

2.    Microwave 2 1/2- 3 minutes (microwaves vary, keep an eye on it so it doesn't boil over)

3.    Let sit at least 5 minutes, I make mine the night before which works well. Stir well, add protein powder and mix. Add additional toppings/mix ins.
