Microwave Protein Cake

Ingredients:

·       17 g protein powder (whey or casein or a blend will work, any flavor!)

·       9 g flour

·       3 g baking powder

·       28 g non fat plain Greek yogurt

·       46 g egg whites

·       Optional add ins: sugar free (or regular) chocolate chips, cocoa powder (needed for a chocolate cake), cinnamon, sprinkles

Steps:

1.       Mix dry ingredients in bowl (medium, semi deep, cake will rise)

2.       Add wet ingredients and mix well

3.       Microwave for 30 seconds, check cake- times will vary. This cake is meant to have a slightly lava (uncooked) center. If needed microwave for more time (10 second intervals recommended, we don’t want this overcooked)

4.       Top with ice cream if desired and ENJOY!
